Job Description
Starting Hourly Rate for this position will be: $16.8750The duties listed below are not all of the duties that may be assigned but are those that are considered as essential for an employee to perform:
Stock closets with supplies at beginning and end of each shift.
- Cleaning and decontamination of Emergency Response Vehicles.
- Meet trucks at shift change and stock their necessary items.
- Refill oxygen tanks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalency.
- Valid Driver's License
Ability to:
- Determine the most efficient route for delivery of supplies to stations.
- Apply commonly accepted safety procedures and precautions.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of work unites and their vehicles.
- Assist work units in cleaning ambulances.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships with the general public, medical community, medical volunteers, and other governmental agencies.
- Operate a personal or county vehicle or other vehicles in the performance of official business and under varying conditions.
- Operate a computer.
- Prepare and maintain departmental physical conditioning standards.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and written, with various public and private agencies, the general public, government officials, and employees of the County.

Candidates selected will undergo a background check. The candidate selected must undergo and pass a drug screening test prior to employment.
