The Graduate and Professional School is seeking a Program Coordinator I - Events who will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of major events and student engagement initiatives. We are looking for highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will play a key role in enhancing the graduate student experience through signature events such as Graduate Commencement, New Graduate Student Orientation, and the Graduate Awards Ceremony. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting within all events logistics, communications, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure smooth and impactful essential to support event planning and execution. What You Need To Know
Salary: $49,992.00/annually (based on selected hire’s qualifications).

Other Requirements and Factors:
Ability to travel and represent the Graduate and Professional School at recruitment events, conferences, and outreach initiatives (both in-state and out-of-state).
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends during major recruitment cycles and events.
Required to assist with coordination efforts of university commencement operations, including supporting planning activities and attending graduate ceremonies.
Must be able to arrive to work on time and regularly.
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.

Essential Duties/Tasks
Recruitment Outreach & Engagement
Supports the implementation of graduate recruitment initiatives designed to engage prospective students and promote graduate education opportunities at Texas A&M.
Assists with coordinating and executing graduate recruitment outreach activities, including graduate fairs, information sessions, and presentations.
Represents the Graduate and Professional School at recruitment events, conferences, and outreach initiatives, engaging directly with prospective students.
Provides timely follow-up communication to prospective and admitted students to support enrollment engagement.
Assists in developing and maintaining recruitment presentations, materials, and informational resources.
Coordinates logistics for recruitment-related programs and outreach events.
Supports relationship-building efforts with campus partners and academic departments involved in recruitment initiatives.
Travel is expected to support recruitment efforts and represent the Graduate and Professional School at both in-state and out-of-state events.
Graduate Student Engagement & Signature Event Coordination
Coordinates logistics and operational planning for major Graduate and Professional School events and student engagement initiatives.
Assists with planning and implementing major graduate student events such as orientation programs, commencement ceremonies, engagement events, and milestone celebrations, with increasing responsibility over time.
Coordinates event logistics, including venue reservations, vendor communication, catering coordination, and event materials.
Supports the development of event timelines, run-of-show documents, and event communications.
Assists with event execution and on-site coordination.
Collects and tracks event participation data to support program evaluation.
CRM Communication & Recruitment/Event Support
Supports communication and engagement efforts with prospective and admitted graduate students.
Assists with scheduling recruitment communications through CRM platforms and other communication channels.
Helps maintain communication schedules and outreach workflows for event initiatives. Helps maintain communication schedules and outreach workflows for recruitment initiatives.
Responds to prospective student inquiries and provides guidance on graduate opportunities and university resources Assists with maintaining records related to recruitment engagement and communications.
Program Operations & Administrative Coordination
Provides operational and administrative support for recruitment and engagement initiatives. Assists with coordinating program logistics, documentation, and scheduling.
Maintains records and program tracking systems related to recruitment and engagement activities.
Supports purchasing and administrative processes associated with events and programs. Assists in preparing materials needed for recruitment presentations and programs.
Performs additional duties in support of Graduate and Professional School initiatives as needed.
Business Process and Procedure
Data Tracking & Program Assessment Supports the collection and tracking of program and recruitment engagement data.
Maintains records of event attendance and recruitment engagement activities.
Assists with compiling participation data and program metrics.
Supports reporting efforts that inform recruitment and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Texas A&M University experience with working knowledge of Compass, Howdy, and DPSS.
Customer service experience.
Experience working with graduate students in an advising capacity or related role.
Higher education experience.
Experience processing high-volume records, requests, and tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with campus partners.
Ability to present information effectively to prospective students and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
