In this position, you’ll provide essential nursing care in a secure correctional setting—delivering care that’s consistent, respectful, and patient-focused.
What You’ll Do:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform patient assessments and monitor conditions
- Respond to medical needs and emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a structured environment
- Correctional or related nursing experience preferred, but not required
