JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Curatorial Assistant Imaging Specialist (CAIS) works with intelligence and sensitivity to produce outstanding images of specimens from Lewis & Clark College's Natural History Collection (LC NHC). Experience with photography and/or digital imaging is necessary. The CAIS will occasionally need to collaborate with other members of the LC NHC Curatorial Team.

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create digital images of natural history specimens

  • Keep image metadata according to project standards

  • Collaborate with other members of the curatorial team

RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:

SCHEDULE:

  • Flexible

RATE OF PAY:

  • $16.90 per hour

WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:

  • Work Study preferred, but not required.

      Eligibility to Work
