JOB PURPOSE:
Clerk/Cashier at Law Bookstore.
PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:
Must be a registered Lewis & Clark LAW student for fall 2026.
Priority for this position is given to Lewis & Clark law students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bookstore cashier, customer service, stocking, cleaning, packing & moving boxes up to 50lbs. and other similar duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE:
Hiring ONE student to start Thursday, August 20th and work approximately 30 hours between August 20th and August 30th with one weekend day required. Upon the start of fall semester (August 31st), schedule will move to 7-8 hours per week. Fall semester work hours are contingent on the availability schedule of the student.
Hiring THREE students to start at the beginning of fall semester (classes start August 31, 2026). Schedule is typically two mornings per week or two afternoons per week (7-8 hours per week). Fall semester hours are contingent on availability schedule of the student. Fall semester work hours are contingent on the availability schedule of the student.
Other fill-in hours available
Regular law bookstore hours are 10am - 5:30pm, M-TH & 10am - 3pm, Fridays.

These positions are scheduled to continue for spring semester 2027 based on students' available schedules.

RATE OF PAY:
$16.80 per hour

Eligibility to Work
