
TPO Correspondent Review Specialist (Pacific Time Zone)
Job Description
This position is responsible for working on behalf of the mortgage lender by accurately assembling and verifying all initial application disclosures and closing documentation. The Review Specialist is responsible for preparing and verifying closing document when needed and reviewing all documentation to ensure the loan meets program guidelines, compliance and company policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Review loan package provided by broker partners and take each file from application to closing

Loan Data Entry and Document Indexing / verify information for accuracy

Services Ordering

Provide proper disclosure as required by local, state, and federal regulations

Input and evaluate DU/LP findings, credit reports, verification of employment, income and asset documentation, preliminary title reports, Flood Certifications and Appraisals prior to forwarding the file to underwriter

Obtain missing documents and verify document accuracy by communicating directly with the broker partner, account executive, and any other party involved in the transaction

Work on conditions for loans that come out of underwriting

Prepare closing documents ensuring quality, correct closing fees, and property closing conditions

Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures

Maintain communication with broker partner and Account Executive regarding loan file throughout the life of the loan
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum of 2 years of processing and/or Closing experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LP (preferred not required)

General knowledge of mortgage products and processes (preferred not required)

Knowledge of RESPA requirements and Good Faith Estimate preparation and disclosure (preferred not required)

Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Encompass Loan Origination system is preferred

Can work with a sense of urgency when time constraints are involved.
