What Will You Do?
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for engineering materials, equipment, and services Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs (Request for Quotation) and Purchase Orders Analyse technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs in coordination with engineering teams Compare quotations and negotiate price, delivery, payment terms, and contracts Ensure materials comply with technical, quality, and statutory requirements Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues Work closely with production, planning, quality, and finance departments Track order status, follow up on delays, and manage expediting activities Good knowledge of C-class items, including fasteners and electrical bought-out components Strong understanding of local logistics, including delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, and transporter coordination Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Knowledge in Logistics for Inbound and Out Bound local transits Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing processes
