Job Description
Job Purpose
The Senior Vice President of Technical Delivery & Operations is a key executive responsible for end-to-end technical delivery, engineering execution, and production operations across the organisation’s digital products and platforms. This role owns solution integrity, system reliability, deployment governance, and delivery performance, ensuring all technology outputs are scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the overall technical delivery and operational management of the company’s digital products and platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Act as the internal technical authority and product owner for the organization’s proprietary solutions, governing product roadmap, solution architecture, technical direction, and vendor delivery outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate external vendors, development partners, and system integrators to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of software development and enhancement initiatives.
- Review technical designs, solution proposals, system integrations, and delivery milestones to ensure scalability, security, maintainability, and operational readiness of the product ecosystem.
- Establish delivery governance, operational KPIs, service performance standards, and incident management processes to maintain stable and reliable operations across all environments.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate operational and commercial requirements into practical technology solutions and product enhancements.
- Lead a lean internal technology team by driving technical oversight, vendor management, strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence while remaining hands-on in key technical discussions and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, technical delivery, or technology operations, with strong exposure to vendor-managed development environments.
- Proven hands-on technical capability in system architecture, software development, cloud platforms, APIs/integrations, and delivery governance within enterprise-scale environments.
