Job Description
The Manager Employee Benefits helps design and develop the health, welfare, and retirement plan strategies and delivers programs in support of these strategies. This role manages experienced professionals and ensures that the benefits strategy is market competitive and compliant, meets the business' evolving requirements, and supports the organization's employee value proposition. This role is also responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs within the organization.

Essential Job Function
- Partners with Total Rewards Director and VP, People Operations to develop the goals and strategies of the corporate benefits programs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Monitors the national benefits environment and provides expert advice and counsel to senior management on options and cost savings regarding employee benefits and work-life issues.
- Establishes effective communication between employees and appointed vendors for outsourced benefits programs and ensures employees' questions and issues are resolved properly.
- Manages professional and support staff within the Benefits and Reward & Recognition teams to ensure the accuracy of employee benefits data within the HRIS in support of benefits analysis, HR and financial reporting, and corporate business analysis.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams focused on employee wellness, communications, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to design medical plans and align benefits with employee needs.
- Leads organizational Rewards & Recognition strategy, programs, and events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
- Required: 5 years of benefits experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Preferred: SHRM-(S)CP, (S)PHR, CHHR or CEBS
