Job Description
Job Summary**
The Project Superintendent at Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing and mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for assigned plumbing and mechanical projects.
* Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
* Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve on-site problems and conflicts efficiently.
* Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and other required documentation.
* Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on technical and logistical matters.
* Ensure proper closeout procedures are followed, including punch list completion and final inspections.
Job Qualifications**
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent, specifically in plumbing and mechanical construction.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex plumbing and mechanical projects from inception to completion.
* Strong understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems, blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings and specifications.
* OSHA 30 certification preferred.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
