
Process Engineering Manager II
Job Description
This position receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. The manager provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. The manager establishes and recommends changes to policies that affect the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and serious delays in overall schedules. The manager frequently interacts with functional peer group managers and interacts with senior management. Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas and suppliers. The manager has responsibility for all department facets including costs, methods and employees. Provides technical leadership for manufacturing process and controls engineering innovations. Coordinate engineering best practices, such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. Provide direction and development, installation and improvement activities for new equipment. Oversee key projects.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages multiple manufacturing engineers and, process engineers, controls engineers and design specialists.

- Manage the group’s effort in areas of scrap reduction, productivity improvement and quality improvement programs to meet business objectives defined both through direct input of supervisors as well as through the review of existing business systems.
