Job Purpose
Keep raw material supplied to the production workers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, store, issue, and track inventory across warehouse and production areas, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Pick, stage, and deliver part kits and components to production accurately and within required timelines.
- Perform cycle counts and support root cause analysis to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, proper identification, and documentation.
- Operate forklift to move, load, and replenish materials safely and efficiently.
- Support inventory control activities, including stock adjustments, variance investigations, and data validation in ERP systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in ERP (Syteline preferred), ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to warehouse optimization initiatives, including improving layout, material flow, and process efficiency.
- Assist in monitoring inventory and operational performance metrics (e.g., accuracy, turnaround times) and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Support general warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and production support.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with material handling standards.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (production, quality, planning, etc.) to resolve issues and support operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse associate role.
- Proven experience in warehouse optimisation, including improving layout, material flow, and process efficiency with measurable results (e.g., reduced picking time, improved accuracy, or space utilisation).
- Strong understanding of inventory control best practices (e.g., FIFO, lot control, bin management).
- Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency.
- ERP system experience (Syteline preferred); proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Basic data analysis skills, including working with inventory data, identifying trends, and supporting operational reporting.
- Familiarity with Lean principles (e.g., 5S, waste reduction, continuous improvement) is an asset.
- Forklift and equipment operation certification preferred.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical work.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and dependable, with strong communication skills.
General Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to differentiate colors.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
- Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime.
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be able and willing to operate a forklift.
