
Gearbox design and analysis Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Component design of aircraft gearboxes
- Analyze the contact, stress, and deformation of the entire gearbox, including gears, bearings, shafts, and housings, using ANSOL Transmission 3D
- Assist in the assembly of aviation gearboxes.
- Assist in conducting tests of aviation gearboxes
- Coordination with suppliers
- Design of jigs and tools (including maintenance), 3D modeling of parts and assembly, and drawing creation (CAD software: NX)
- Travel to customer location as per business requirements

Work Experience
- Gear box analysis using ANSOL Transmission 3D application
- Minimum 3 years experience on mechanical design of gearboxes / transmissions.
- Experience in Aerospace product design is preferred.
- English proficiency: Able to read English specifications (reading/writing skills are important).
- The ability to interpret manufacturing drawings prepared in accordance with drafting standards such as ASME is required, with particular emphasis on understanding geometric tolerances (GD&T).
- Willingness to learn what he/she doesn't know.
- Able to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on a personal computer.
- Communication skills (self-motivated, able to talk with others, proactive in problem-solving)
- A broad perspective and the ability to make calm and accurate judgments.
- A desire to explore and improve as an engineer.
Nice to Have (Not Must):
- Experience in aerospace product design (3 years or more)
- Experience in designing drive systems (gears, shafts, bearings, etc.) for aerospace-related products
- Knowledge of strength analysis and vibration analysis
- Positive thinking and enjoys working.
