Job Description
Support operations in the Training Operations Center as an Entry Level Specialist for machining equipment. Assist with the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of specialized equipment—including lathes, furnaces, welders, and transfer systems—within controlled and radiological environments.
Key Duties:
• Assist with operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Perform routine maintenance under supervision to ensure equipment reliability
• Adhere to strict safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Support quality inspections and help record production data
• Work collaboratively with teams to improve processes and workflows
• Learn to operate and maintain equipment in gloveboxes within radiological settings
• Be willing to work rotating shifts in the future and perform physically demanding tasks
Preferred Experience:
Special consideration will be given to candidates with exposure to or training in:
• CNC/High Precision Machining
• Laser/E-Beam Welding
• Helium Leak Testing
• Computed Radiography
• Manufacturing
T3 Operation Specialist:
Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to support operations in the Training Operations Center as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for machining equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record operating, monitoring, and maintaining specialized machining equipment—including lathes, mills, furnaces, CNC welders, and transfer systems—within controlled and radiological environments.

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment, including work within gloveboxes in radiological settings
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards in all tasks
• Conduct detailed quality inspections and accurately record production data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and optimize workflows
• Demonstrate flexibility to work rotating shifts and perform physically demanding tasks as required

• CAD/CAM CNC programming
