Job Description

Job Objectives
To seek an experienced and strategic leader to steer the Business Planning, Customer Segment, and Ecosystem Partnership for Consumer Banking. This newly created role is designed to drive key initiatives and projects that will shape and execute our Consumer Banking business strategy in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and development of customer segment strategies, driving business performance through cross-buy and up-selling opportunities, and forging strong ecosystem partnerships to enhance the Bank’s value proposition. This individual will be at the forefront of enhancing the Bank’s business franchise value and shaping the future of customer segment proposition across Mass, Emerging Affluent, Affluent, and High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) segments.

Roles & Responsibilities
•Lead the development and execution of business strategies across customer segments, i.e. Mass, Emerging Affluent, Affluent (Treasures), and HNWI (TPC and WM 2.0) to drive growth and profitability across Consumer Banking in Taiwan.
•Steer strategic initiatives aimed at increasing product holdings, cross-buy, and up-selling opportunities, especially within the Bank’s newly acquired and expanded customer base.
•Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align segment strategies with overall business objectives and market trends.
•Develop and refine segment-specific strategies and tailor products and services to meet the unique needs of each customer group, enhancing customer engagement and loyalty.
•Identify and assess emerging market trends, customer behaviors, and potential growth opportunities within each segment, adjusting strategies accordingly to gain competitiveness.
•Strengthen and expand ecosystem partnerships to create compelling value propositions for customers, leveraging partnerships to enhance offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
•Cultivate and manage key partnerships across various industries to develop synergistic opportunities for customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
•Oversee the execution of performance management frameworks and PMA metrics, ensuring alignment with business strategic priorities and DVC 2.0 goals.
•Conduct regular reviews and use data-driven insights to optimize performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress against goals.
•Collaborate closely with Products, Marketing, Distributions, Data Chapter, Operations, Risk, and other SUs to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives and customer-focused strategies.
•Lead or contribute to special, high-priority strategic initiatives and coordinate CBG Performance Cells to achieve BHAG financial outcomes for MtJs, that drive the bank’s competitiveness and market positioning.
•Serve as a key liaison across Consumer Banking teams, ensuring alignment of efforts and resources across all initiatives aimed at enhancing customer value and deepen customer relationships.

Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
•Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Consumer Banking; with hands on business planning, project management, or partnership management experience
•Strong understanding of the Consumer Banking landscape in Taiwan, including customer trends, financial products, and key industry players.
•Proven track record of successfully driving cross-functional collaboration and executing large-scale business initiatives or projects.
•Experience managing high-level relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including ecosystem partners, regulatory bodies, and senior management.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data insights into actionable strategies.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
•Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams, driving initiatives, and delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•High proficiency in business performance management, KPI development, and results tracking.
•Fluent in Mandarin (both spoken and written). Proficiency in English is a plus.
