Project Construction and Commissioning Manager (Generation/Generation Engineering)

Contract Period: 2-Year Contract

Work Location: Tuen Mun

Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Generation Engineering Department of our Generation Business Group. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will oversee all construction and commissioning activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and manage owner’s construction and commissioning team.
• Develop and implement construction and commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with project controls, engineering, procurement, and other departments to align project objectives.
• Manage construction & commissioning interfaces with contractors, utilities, operations, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure commissioning activities are properly sequenced with construction completion and quality acceptance.
• Manage contractor performance and resolve any issues impacting project delivery.
• Monitor progress, resources usage and relevant KPI:S and prepare regular reports for project management.
• Track the completion of systems and handover to commissioning ensuring quality and safety are not compromised and any deviations documented.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and project teams

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in engineering, Construction Management or equivalent plus at least 8 years of experience in construction and commissioning roles within the industry. 
• Relevant certifications in construction and commissioning management are preferred.
• Proven experience in managing construction and commissioning activities in large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, commissioning processes, and industry standards relevant to BESS and 400kV works including transformer.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural project teams.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
