Job Description

The impact you'll make:

You will be helping clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines and realise business goals. Your typical day may include:

  • Advising on a wide range of business tax matters from compliance to planning
  • Preparing /reviewing income tax provisions for the purpose of reporting in financial statements
  • Assisting clients in the resolution of tax disputes. 
  • Applying knowledge of current and pending tax legislation.
  • Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results and driving high performance from people while fostering collaboration.
  • Acting as a role model and recognising others for the impact they make.
  • Developing high-performing people and team through challenging and meaningful opportunities.
  • Influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships.
  • Improving work efficiency, effectiveness and client service by using common technology tools.

Your expertise:

You'll also have:

  • 5+ years+ work experience in a tax compliance and advisory environment.
  • A professional qualification in accounting.
  • A strong understanding of end-to-end tax processes & the NZ tax environment.
  • Excellent team player and proven leadership and management skills.
  • Results driven & client oriented.
  • Ability to demonstrate management flair, drive and identify business development opportunities.
  • A drive to develop people and grow their career.
