Job Description

Build Something Exceptional—In a Place Like No Other

For over a century, The Dillard House has been a cornerstone of Southern Appalachian hospitality. Now, we’re entering an exciting new chapter—a multi-million-dollar transformation that blends our rich heritage with a vibrant, guest-centered dining experience rooted in the rhythms of farm life.

Nestled in the scenic mountains of North Georgia—just two hours from Atlanta—our resort offers more than a workplace. It’s a destination. With newly reimagined restaurant concepts, an expanding food & beverage program (including a brewery), and a deep commitment to locally sourced, garden-driven cuisine, this is a rare opportunity to help shape an elevated hospitality experience from the ground up.

If you’re a passionate, service-driven leader who thrives on creating unforgettable guest experiences, we want to meet you.

You will:

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations across multiple concepts, including Main Dining Room, Brewery, Rock House Restaurant, and Banquets
  • Champion exceptional guest service standards and create memorable dining experiences

  • Train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing service team, including servers, hosts, and support staff
  • Manage reservations, guest flow, and special events with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Resolve guest concerns with confidence, empathy, and urgency
  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless FOH/BOH collaboration
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and ambiance throughout all guest-facing areas
  • Monitor and manage labor, scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Uphold company policies, service standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-driven culture

  • Multi-concept experience – Lead service across restaurant, brewery, and event operations
  • Guest-focused excellence – Create elevated yet authentic Southern hospitality experiences
  • Lifestyle & location – Work in the mountains surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor adventure

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package designed to support your well-being and long-term success:

  • Professional Development Opportunities
  • A supportive, team-first culture with strong leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a high-volume restaurant or multi-concept front-of-house leadership role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest engagement skills
  • Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and team development
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and operational efficiency
  • Experience with POS and reservation systems (Revel, Micros, Aloha, or similar preferred)
  • Knowledge of service standards, food & beverage operations, and guest relations
  • Hands-on leadership style—you lead from the floor, not the office

Physical Requirements:
