THE TEAM
Kepler’s Activation team is made up of forward-thinking media traders, with ad platform optimization expertise across biddable media channels (including social, SEM, video/Advanced TV, and programmatic DSP media: audio, DOOH, native, display, etc.) and a keen sense of macro marketing, data policy, and technology trends.
This team is not simply a trading desk - you are a strategic biddable media expert, who will be client-facing, partner-facing, and seen as an internal expert for brainstorming future-proof ad tech solutions that drive client value and solve/automate internal workflow challenges.
THE ROLE
As an Activation, Senior Analyst on our Activation team, you’ll support client relationships, oversee campaign execution, manage complex retail and digital media projects, and lead many aspects of program management and innovation. You’ll succeed in this role if you’re a natural leader, have exceptional communication and organizational skills, and are a creative problem solver with an instinct to use data to drive marketplace growth.
What You Will Do:
- Refine your expertise in leveraging digital media channels for maximum impact—with a heavy focus on the Amazon Advertising suite (Amazon DSP, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display), alongside social, search, video/Advanced TV (including Prime Video, Freevee, FireTV), and broader programmatic DSPs.
- Support your clients and vendors; track, escalate, and solve client issues related to media performance, inventory, and retail readiness.
- Partner with clients to understand their business goals, e-commerce/marketing objectives, and competitive constraints within the retail media landscape.
- Work closely with your Manager and other Kepler team members to design and execute sophisticated, full-funnel media programs that deliver breakthrough client results.
- Execute and monitor all aspects of campaign setup, pacing, and optimization; measure performance using sophisticated data analysis and retail metrics (e.g., ROAS, New-to-Brand, glance views).
- Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy reports; leverage data from Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and other clean rooms to contribute to ongoing program analysis and closed-loop measurement.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1–3+ years of full-time digital optimization experience required, with a strong preference for hands-on experience running Amazon DSP and Amazon Sponsored Ads (or equivalent major Retail Media Networks). Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other programmatic DSPs is a plus.
- Strong interest and/or experience in client services, digital media, and e-commerce growth strategies.
- Ability to “do what it takes” and manage a complex workload that spans program execution, continuous optimization, and client communications.
- Strong analytical skills, and comfort with MS Excel, data analysis, and internet technologies. Familiarity with SQL or Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent listening and communication skills with a strong ability to translate complex media metrics into actionable business insights for clients.
- Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to detail in a fast-moving marketplace environment.
- Ability to contribute to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, collaborative team environment.
