Expected salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
The Senior Analyst applies subject matter expertise to support daily Retail Operations processes, resolve complex issues and escalations, and lead effective communication and change management across the team and with internal and external stakeholders. This role drives process improvements and system enhancements in partnership with project teams, Information Technology, and cross functional partners.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Execute order to cash operational activities, including customer enrollment, contract and confirmation processing, billing and pricing data management, cash application, and third party payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery.
- Manage customer and vendor inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolution while maintaining a high level of customer support.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems to support accurate billing, revenue recognition, and risk mitigation.
- Investigate and resolve complex operational issues by applying independent judgment, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions in collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Work collaboratively with other operational groups to help identify and resolve any potential customer issues.
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate issues, share insights, and drive resolution of system and process improvement opportunities.
- Partner with cross functional teams and Information Technology to support projects, define requirements, develop test plans, and implement system and process improvements.
- Identify business needs and develop requirements, test plans, and validation activities for system enhancements, process improvements, and defect resolution.
- Communicate changes or impact to business process effectively to business users via change management efforts.
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), through regular audits, assessments and control testing.
- Ensure assigned workflow processes align with policies and controls.
- Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.
- In-person attendance for training, all-hands meetings, and other meaningful engagements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5-years relevant experience, in lieu of degree 9 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to obtain and analyze large data sets and can reason through complex scenarios to suggest course of action or remediation
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and independent decision making
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams ranging from individual contributors to multi-member groups
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to make accurate and timely decisions while working under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and engage appropriate stakeholders to drive resolution with minimal managerial oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the retail energy industry and or regulated/deregulated energy markets
- Experience in Government Aggregation Programs
- Experience using CRM and or order to cash workflow systems
- Working knowledge of UDC/ISO/LDC market EDI transactions
- Advanced technical acumen in SQL, business applications, and emerging technologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects and proactively mitigating potential risk
- Lean Six Sigma certification
