As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of Angel’s mobile experience. You’ll own products from concept to launch, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and growth teams to create experiences that drive engagement, retention, subscriptions, and customer satisfaction. At Angel, Senior Product Designers operate with a high degree of ownership, helping define product strategy, leveraging AI to validate ideas, and crafting end-to-end experiences that bring solutions to market quickly.
What You’ll Do
- Design and launch thoughtful mobile app experiences that take advantage of AI, personalization, and real-time user insights.
- Integrate network effects and positive user feedback loops into all you design so that users can have an ever-increasing valuable experience.
- Own projects from concept to launch, balancing speed, craft, experimentation, and measurable impact.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, creative, growth, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life quickly and clearly.
- Design experiences that improve engagement, retention, subscriptions, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Prototype, test, measure, and refine experiences based on user behavior, analytics, and feedback.
- Craft polished, intuitive mobile experiences that feel native across iOS and Android while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the Design System team to create scalable, consistent, and high-quality product experiences.
- Identify UX problems early and proactively create elegant, practical solutions in fast-moving environments.
- Help shape product direction by collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to improve user experiences and business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years designing consumer-facing digital product experiences, with a strong focus on mobile apps.
- Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to shape strategy, ship features, and improve user experiences.
- Experience designing AI-powered product experiences and hands-on experience using modern AI tools and workflows, including the Claude suite.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make thoughtful, data-informed design decisions.
- Committed to understanding users and helping them achieve their goals.
- Thrives in fast-moving, highly iterative environments where experimentation and adaptability are essential.
- Collaborative, low-ego teammate who communicates clearly and works effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to move fluidly between strategic thinking and polished execution.
- Curious, creative, and energized by testing bold new ideas and pushing product experiences forward.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and contribute positively to team culture through collaboration and feedback.
- Open to giving and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedback in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable designing across platforms including mobile, web, and streaming experiences.
- Experience designing products or experiences within entertainment, media, streaming, or subscription-based platforms.
- Familiarity with Angel, the Angel Guild, and our body of work (films, series, and other projects).
