Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Expert (HVAC & Plumbing)
Project: PgMC – Amaravati (APCRDA)
Location: Amaravati / Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Experience Required: 12+ Years

Qualification

  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC & Plumbing exposure mandatory)
  • Master’s degree preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and supervise design deliverables for HVAC, Plumbing, and District Cooling System (DCS) works under Programme Management Consultancy (PgMC) scope
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, project specifications, and APCRDA requirements
  • Evaluate and validate design drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and tender documents related to HVAC & Plumbing systems
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs
  • Conduct technical review meetings and provide inputs for design optimization and value engineering
  • Monitor overall progress of mechanical design activities and ensure timely submission of deliverables
  • Identify design gaps/risks and provide recommendations to mitigate project issues
  • Review technical submittals and provide comments/approvals as per project requirements
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and highlight key issues to project management and client
  • Support stakeholder coordination and ensure smooth implementation of approved designs at site level through supervision and inspections (as per PgMC role)
