
Informatics & IT Support Associate
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Informatics and IT leadership team
- Assist with preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and data summaries
- Support departmental projects, implementations, and process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate communication between leadership, staff, vendors, and external partners
- Track and follow up on tasks, projects, and action items to ensure timely completion
- Assist in prioritizing and escalating system or technical issues impacting operations
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and user access issues
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including system access and equipment setup
- Support maintenance and tracking of IT equipment and inventory
- Coordinate with external IT vendors for issue resolution and system support
- Escalate complex technical issues appropriately
- Assist with daily support of EHR, billing, scheduling, and reporting systems
- Support data accuracy, validation, and report generation for leadership and departments
- Help identify workflow inefficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement
- Assist with system updates, testing, and implementation activities
- Provide basic training and support to staff on system use and workflows
- Assist in managing and maintaining organizational social media platforms
- Develop, schedule, and publish content aligned with leadership direction and organizational goals
- Promote services, events, projects, and community engagement initiatives
- Monitor engagement and respond or escalate messages as appropriate
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and professionalism
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in administrative support, IT, informatics, or social media management preferred
- Basic understanding of IT systems and healthcare workflows is a plus
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
