Appear is a growing international technology company serving leading customers around the world. We are looking for a Professional Services Business Owner to help build and scale our Professional Services business.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of how services are packaged, sold, delivered, and measured across the company. You will play a key role in turning Professional Services into a scalable and profitable part of Appear's business.
About the role
As Professional Services Business Owner, you will be responsible for creating the structure, processes, and commercial framework that support our Professional Services organisation.
You will work closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and Finance to ensure our services are easy to sell, easy to deliver, and commercially successful.
This is a highly visible role with direct impact on customer success, operational efficiency, and business growth.
What you will do
Build and maintain Appear's Professional Services portfolio and service catalogue
Define standard service packages, scopes, and delivery models
Develop templates, tools, and processes that improve consistency and scalability
Create visibility into service revenue, utilisation, and profitability
Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency
Support Sales teams with service positioning, pricing, and packaging
Drive continuous improvement across the Professional Services organisation
What success looks like
Professional Services becomes a scalable and profitable business area
Standardised service offerings become the preferred way of selling services
Clear visibility into revenue, utilisation, and margins
Improved consistency and efficiency across service delivery
Strong collaboration between Sales, Product, Delivery, and Finance
Who we are looking for
You have experience from a Professional Services, Services Operations, Business Operations, or similar role within a technology company.
You likely have:
Experience building or improving service offerings and delivery models
Strong commercial understanding and interest in business performance
Experience working across multiple functions and stakeholders
An analytical and structured approach to problem solving
The ability to turn ideas into practical solutions and processes
Experience from B2B technology companies and enterprise environments is an advantage.
