As a Senior UX/UI Designer at ZS Associates, you will help lead the design of AI-powered digital products, predictive analytics interfaces, and enterprise-scale healthcare solutions
You’ll guide experience strategy, translate research insights into scalable design patterns, and collaborate closely with UX designers, researchers, and developers to bring intuitive, high-quality interfaces to life across web and mobile platforms.
Your work will include creating wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and polished design assets, as well as contributing to design systems that ensure consistency across products
You will also leverage GenAI design tools to accelerate key workflows from research synthesis to ideation and prototyping—while conducting UI audits to enhance usability, accessibility, and visual coherence.
The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of usability principles, accessibility best practices, and modern design heuristics
Familiarity with GenAI design accelerators and the ability to communicate design rationale clearly will be essential as you help shape conversations with clients and internal teams.
Apply structured problem-solving and systems thinking to break down ambiguous problem spaces
Ability to map complex business rules, multi-role workflows, and process dependencies into intuitive user journeys.
What you’ll do:
UX/UI Design:
- Strong visual design skills with the ability to create modern, intuitive interfaces for complex web and mobile applications.
- Experience producing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, style guides, icons, and other core UI assets.
- Ability to collaborate with UX leads, developers, and cross-functional teams throughout the user-centered design process.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, design heuristics, and platform-specific technical limitations.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Axure, HTML prototypes, etc.).
- Ability to design AI-driven workflows, predictive dashboards, conversational UI, and GenAI-enabled experiences.
- Skill in translating business and analytics
into scalable interaction patterns and high-fidelity designs.
- Familiarity with using generative AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, and design variations.
- Experience contributing to or evolving design systems, including components for AI-powered products.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and guide junior designers.
- Ability to support or conduct UX research and synthesize insights into actionable design direction.
- Experience facilitating workshops, design reviews, and design sprints for concept validation.
- Strong experience designing multi-level analytics dashboards.
- Ability to translate analytical metrics into clear, intuitive, decision-support UI components.
What you’ll bring:
Qualifications
ZS welcomes candidates who hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a visual design field, including graphic design, interaction design, illustration, or a comparable design discipline
We are looking for individuals with 5–7 years of experience in UX/UI Design, with a strong focus on designing and delivering complex, high-volume, high-profile business or enterprise applications such as portals, business applications, mobile apps, interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and information-rich systems.
Candidates should have experience designing analytics-driven and AI-enabled workflows, including conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, decision-support tools, and agentic task flows
Proficiency with GenAI design tools, the ability to structure ambiguous problem spaces, and the capability to develop scalable interaction patterns are highly valued
Strong communication skills, client collaboration experience, and the ability to explain and defend design decisions are essential.
The role requires strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
Experience mentoring junior designers, contributing to design systems, and applying core consulting skills such as managing tasks, synthesizing feedback, and articulating design choices is important
Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare or pharma is a plus
Your skills will help us deliver UX design services to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams as you participate in a user-centered, collaborative design process.
How you’ll grow:
- Ability to proactively identify and address issues independently, and display ownership of and responsibility for work.
- A functional understanding of enterprise software is preferred, as well as being adept at collaborating with other members of the UX team and technical teams to reach feasible design solutions for portals, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, content management systems, collaboration technologies, and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
- Previous experience working in pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of healthcare is a plus
UXUI Experience:
- A strong portfolio featuring design work for enterprise, that showcases visual design for mobile or desktop applications, infographics, iconography, logos or other design work, and how it leads to positive business outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern design tools such as Figma, Figma Make, AI-powered design tools, and the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator).
- Demonstrated ability to translate a client’s brand into modern-looking user interfaces and other digital multimedia, following visual design best practices for mobile and desktop applications.
- Demonstrated ability to create and follow a style guide or other visual design documentation and leverage it to execute mock-ups for clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency designing for GenAI and AI-powered experiences, including chat UX, agentic task flows, AI copilots, explainable AI (XAI) elements, recommendation UX, and multi-step AI-driven workflows.
- Ability to structure AI-assisted decision journeys with rationales, confidence indicators, next actions, and safety boundaries.
- Experience collaborating with and/or supporting user experience research and/or design teams is a plus.
- An understanding of modern BI tools (e.g
Power BI, Tableau) and low code applications (e.g
Power Apps, SFDC), as well as UI Frameworks is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including UX, business (e.g
Marketing, Sales), product management and/or technology/IT/engineering) is a plus.
Client Management and Communication:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly articulate and document design decisions with stakeholders and development teams and keep UX and Project Team leads up to date.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to design discussions that help to obtain consensus and move projects forward.
- Ability to participate in a team environment where individuals can communicate and contribute freely.
- Listens carefully to client and team requests, asks questions that help to drive discussions forward.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a meaningful way that is easy to understand
Candidates should have the ability to travel to client locations (25%) to work with teams and provide in-person expertise
