About the role
The incumbent will liaise with the Employer on design criteria, support the Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader, and ensure all outputs meet project standards and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for designing rolling stock of the proposed components as stipulated in the TOR
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, BOQ items & quantity, rate analysis related to workshop/depot shed manufacturing and maintenance
Manage and supervise the day-to-day working and maximum utilization of available experts and staff. Assign tasks of all related experts/staff
Coordinate among staff/experts working for bridge-related works for different components and inform updates to Team Leader/Deputy Team Leader.
Discuss design criteria and any other matter with the Employer before finalization
Other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader and Employer
About You:
- 15 years total professional experience, preferably 10 years’ experience in railway field.
- 8 years’ experience in similar type feasibility study and design consultancy, including preferably 5 years’ experience as Railway Rolling Stock Engineer or similar post for similar type consultancy.
Working experience in SAARC region would be preferable.
