About the role

We are currently looking for Team Leader/Project Manager who will Provide overall leadership, direction, and management for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, quality control, time and cost management, and closure of the project. The role is responsible for supervising and utilizing technical consultants and experts engaged on client assignments, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective implementation of project activities. It also involves coordinating among head office and field office teams, the Employer, Contractor, subcontractors, and required support levels to ensure smooth communication, timely issue resolution, and consistent delivery of project outputs. The incumbent will arrange training where required, support multidisciplinary coordination, and ensure that all project deliverables are completed in accordance with client requirements, contractual obligations, approved timelines, budget, quality standards, and organizational procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, quality control, time and cost management, and closure of the project.
  • Manage and superintend the day-to-day working, utilization, implementation, and technical consultants engaged on client assignments. Assign tasks to all other experts.
  • Coordinate among experts of head office and field offices, Employer, Contractor, subcontractors, and required support levels. Arrange training, where required.
  • Lead the overall planning and execution of the project, including preparation of work plans, schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies in line with project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, quality, time, and cost performance, and take corrective actions to ensure that project activities remain aligned with approved scope, schedule, budget, and standards.
  • Coordinate project closure activities, including completion review, final reporting, handover of deliverables, resolution of outstanding issues, and documentation of lessons learned.

 

About You:

  • Graduation in relevant field
  • 20 years of professional experience
  • 15 years’ experience in railway,
  • 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Substantial experience in FIDIC-based ICB contract management 
  • Working experience in SAARC/ ASEAN region
  • Having experience in leading ADB and/or other MDBs funded railway projects
