Job Description
Job Objective Managing and being responsible for the execution of foreign trade and the execution of material flow to the customer. Designing, optimizing and steering logistic systems and process workflows, as well as implementing selected project orders inclusive training measures. Ensuring agreed targets are achieved in responsibility according to quality, costs, timing, service and cooperation (Q-C-T-S-C), as well as health safety and environmental protection principles. Carrying out and assuming responsibility for quality assurance measures, as well as planning optimum personnel deployment in the respective area of responsibility. Support Foreign Trade and Customs affairs according to global business process management. Duties and Responsibilities A Disposition of shipping orders Definition of shipping type, packaging, volume of shipment within defined framework. Collection and Analysis of quotations for national and international transport. Nomination of forwarder for execution of transport within defined framework. Notification of shipments at forwarder. Disposition of freight volume within defined framework and under consideration of criteria for shipments bundling. Monitoring of on time and correct order fulfillment and initiating counter measures if needed. B Import / Export Generation of goods accompanying documents (delivery notes, invoices, customs documents, etc.) depending on the mod of shipment and consignee’s specifications as well as verification of the documents regarding completeness and objective accuracy. Handling of regular customs clearing formalities within the organizational framework under consideration of internal, country and customer specific requirements. Monitoring of receipts and transport confirmation documents (e.g. Invoice, customer communication) and forwarding to involved internal departments. C Leadership Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks. Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks. Responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands.
