Ashland has an excellent opportunity for an Internal Specialist Pharma BU to work in an on-site format at our office in SÃO PAULO, SP.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Work in close alignment with business leadership and keep a very strong culture of responsiveness and business prioritization.
- Develop formulations – all type of dosages and delivery systems. Develop solid, liquid, semisolid, injectables and dispersion formulations
- Develop internal application studies and prototypes with Ashland materials.
- Interpret and analyze data and prepare technical and specific reports.
- Prepare and present seminars.
- Responsible for the laboratory organization.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Operate and clean with safe and optimal equipment, instruments, laboratory facilities and equipment.
- Compliance with Good Laboratory Practices in order to keep the Lab in excellent condition.
- Conduct themselves in accordance with the safety standards of the company.
- Conduct themselves in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Increase and maintain your technical knowledge.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Pharmacy.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous experience in development and medicine formulation experience, knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, troubleshooting and transfer.
- Desirable Knowledge in injectable formulations.
- Need to have a broad understanding of pharmaceutical formulations and processes with a strong experience in problem solving techniques. Computer literacy is must. Knowledge on production and pilot equipment.
- Prior knowledge of excipients is a benefit. Must have demonstrated ability to learn product chemistries quickly.
- Desirable knowledge of physicochemical analysis.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO, regulatory documents and Quality systems
