About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development, to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the Tennessee Region. This role is ideal for a high-energy sales professional with a passion for customer relationships, team leadership, and hitting aggressive sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Strategy

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the business development and sales functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Support sales forecasting and territory planning in collaboration with leadership.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales and service excellence.

Marketing & Go-to-Market Planning

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; adjust go-to-market strategies as needed.

Industry Engagement & Client Relations

  • Represent the company at trade associations, conferences, and industry events.
  • Support high-level client engagement, including relationship management and deal negotiation/closure.

 What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business development or direct sales role supporting a commercial construction general contractor, subcontractor, or supplier.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and reporting best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
