Electrical Engineer

Barge Design Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in designing distribution and controls associated with infrastructure for data centers, industrial, and healthcare facilities. The selected candidate will be part of our growing team and will be responsible for electrical designs to achieve enhanced efficiency, reliability, and safety. Responsibilities: Collaborates with project team members, client representatives, and review agencies to provide a comprehensive project design. Leads technical electrical design portions of a projects in a multi-discipline environment. Develops studies and narratives to help clients meet project requirements. Selects equipment and designs code compliant electrical systems to achieve client objectives related to uptime and reliability of mission-critical facilities. Conducts fault current analysis, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination studies. Participates in project site visits. Mentors, directs, and oversees work of junior staff and designers.
