TikTok's Data Scientist team is a critical component of the platform's success, responsible for leveraging data to enhance user experience, optimize content delivery, and drive business decisions. Join our Data Science team to support content safety for a global platform. As an intern, you will work on real-world Trust & Safety problems and learn how data analysis informs responsible platform decisions at scale.

• Support data analysis related to content violations, user feedback, and account risk
• Assist in maintaining core metrics, dashboards, and basic monitoring, and help with preliminary issue investigation
• Participate in experiment analysis (e.g., A/B testing) and policy or strategy evaluation under guidance -Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify risk patterns and potential optimization opportunities -Develop automated solutions to accelerate insight generation and improve analysis efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills, with experience in data analysis or modeling
• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
• Able to commit at least 3 days per week, Minimum commitment of 3 months; 6 months preferred
