Our Patient Access Representatives are the welcoming face of our Emergency Department, setting the tone for a calm, supportive, and seamless experience.
What You’ll Do
As a Patient Access Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for children and families entering the Emergency Department. Your role is essential in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the registration process is smooth and accurate. You will:
Greet and engage with patient families in a warm, professional manner
Collect and verify registration and insurance information
Accurately enter demographic and insurance data following established guidelines
Help ensure patient accounts move through the revenue cycle without delays or errors
Support a compassionate, family‑centered environment during what can be a stressful time
Your work directly contributes to the quality of care we provide—both emotion
ally and operationally.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment and is committed to our mission of putting kids first. Successful candidates will have:
A high school diploma, GED, or HSED
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
The ability to work independently and collaboratively
Comfort working weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule or location changes
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Windows, and basic word processing
Accurate and efficient data entry skills
The ability to demonstrate age‑appropriate awareness and sensitivity when interacting with patients and families

*This position requires to float between Greenfield clinic, SGM, and Kenosha.*
Schedule
7am-5:30pm
Must work at least 20 hrs per period.
