Brief Position Description
The person will primarily be responsible for safely and professionally picking up and delivering products to customers within a 100-mile radius. This also loading, chaining, and strapping equipment, operating forklifts on and off trailers, as well as performing pre and post trip inspections.

Responsibilities
- Delivery radius of 100 miles, no overnights
- Pick up and deliver product to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Load, Chain, and Strap all items to include unloading at customer drop off
- Operate forklifts onto and off trailers
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain Bill of Lading with each shipment.
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Complete daily maintenance report and notify supervisor of any needed repairs.
- Report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles.
- Communicate as needed with vendors any necessary changes and logistics to ensure proper delivery of equipment and services,
- Ability to comply with safety cameras being in the vehicle
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned, including but not limited to warehouse and dock duties
Education, Experience, and Certifications
- High school or GED equivalent required
- Class A CDL required
- Must pass a background check and DOT physical and drug screen
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
- One year experience with Dove Trailer and manual transmission
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Computer proficiency required
- Adherence to all safety precautions and policies
- Positive team player
- Excellent communication skills between customers and internal teams
