OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST PT (9934)

Job Summary:

• Provide occupational therapy services to our guests in an outpatient setting with strong emphasis on hand and upper extremity diagnoses.
• Provide initial evaluations, develop plan of care, provide ongoing treatment, revise treatment plan as needed, and discharge patient from skilled service.
• Provide supervision to COTAs and students.
• Fabricate custom orthotics and provide adaptive equipment to patients.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Education:

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of occupational therapy and currently licensed in the state of Alabama.

Experience:

New graduate considered; experienced outpatient therapist preferred.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience with web-based documentation systems a plus.
