Job Summary The Fleet Trainee will support the Fleet Department in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of fleet and ground support equipment activities
The role involves logistics follow-up, maintenance coordination, inventory tracking, supplier communication, and administrative support to ensure the availability, reliability, and compliance of operational assets
The trainee will gain hands-on experience in fleet operations, logistics management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced aviation environment
Your activities Assist in the daily monitoring of fleet vehicles and ground support equipment availability
Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely completion
Coordinate with workshops, suppliers, and service providers regarding repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules
Monitor vehicle downtime and support initiatives to improve fleet utilization
Track spare parts, consumables, and maintenance inventory levels
Support procurement and logistics activities related to fleet operations
Follow up on purchase requests, purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance
Ensure the timely availability of parts and equipment required for operational continuity
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, licenses, registrations, and insurance documentation
Assist in preparing fleet performance reports, KPIs, and operational dashboards
Support fuel consumption monitoring and cost-control initiatives
Participate in fleet audits, inventory counts, and compliance checks
Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and QHSE departments to ensure smooth fleet activities
Assist in implementing process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards
Your profile Bac+2 or plus (Mechanic,Logsitics,Fleet Managemet) Strong interest in fleet management, logistics, transportation, and operational support
Knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and procurement principles is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
Good command of English and French; Arabic is an advantage
Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
