As a Field Specialist, you will act as the onsite technical expert and primary Baker Hughes focal point at customer locations. You will lead field crews, mentor less experienced FSEs, and ensure flawless execution of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. With full competence across at least two product categories, you will drive safe operations, deliver customer satisfaction, and uphold Baker Hughes’ standards of quality and performance.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project‑Related Procedures (PRP) with expert proficiency

  • Providing onsite technical direction for the operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of wellheads, X‑trees, and related equipment

  • Leading field crews and mentoring junior FSEs to build technical capability and operational readiness

  • Managing offshore inventory and ensuring availability of Baker Hughes equipment and tools

  • Performing control, function testing, pressure testing, and maintenance activities in line with BH procedures

  • Preparing and delivering work status updates, reports, and technical documentation to customers and project teams

  • Supporting stack‑up testing, failure investigations, and NPT reviews

  • Assisting Engineering and Project Managers with procedure development when required

  • Supporting workshop personnel and participating in equipment preparation and maintenance activities

  • Ensuring compliance with all Company and Regulatory HSE and Quality Management requirements

  • Maintaining accurate Daily Operation Reports and ensuring proper handover to offshore personnel

  • Performing onshore duties as assigned by the Field Service Supervisor

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have at least 5 years of relevant field experience

  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities

  • Be confident discussing technical issues and solutions with customers

  • Have completed training appropriate to your FSE grade

  • Possess excellent knowledge of Baker Hughes wellhead and X‑tree equipment

  • Be fully competent with BH digital systems (GRID, NPT/SIRCam, Agility, EPIMS, etc.)

  • Have strong written and spoken English communication skills

  • Understand drilling and production processes related to BH tools

  • Be familiar with offshore installation practices and safety requirements

  • Hold a relevant technical education or apprenticeship certification

  • Have experience across multiple offshore installations and operator work routines

  • Have completed all required safety training
