The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth and commercial execution for Bently Nevada and Cordant Solutions across industrial accounts in Mexico. This role acts as the primary customer interface, ensuring value-based selling of integrated solutions including hardware, software, and services for asset performance, reliability, and operational optimization. The position combines strong commercial leadership with technical understanding to deliver sustainable growth, profitability (P&L), and longterm customer partnership.
Essential Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of sales strategies across assigned industrial accounts
• Own pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment • Drive revenue growth through new business development as well as upsell and cross-sell of existing accounts
• Manage full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, value proposition development, negotiation, and contract closure
• Act as the main commercial interface with customers, building strong relationships with both operational and executive stakeholders
• Translate customer operational needs into value-driven solutions focused on improving asset reliability, reducing downtime, and optimizing performance
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (engineering, services, digital, channel partners) to ensure successful solution delivery
• Support the expansion of digital and analytics solutions (APM, remote monitoring, advanced diagnostics) within customer operations
• Ensure alignment between customer objectives and Bently Nevada/Cordant value propositions
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine commercial strategies
• Contribute to long-term account plans and strategic initiatives within the region
Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in industrial, technical, or solution-based sales
• Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving commercial targets
• Experience selling reliability, condition monitoring, or asset performance management solutions is strongly preferred
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing complex deals and business cases
• Fluent English
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
