As a Sales Senior Team leader - Account Management, you will drive the delivery, performance, and growth of refinery chemical programs. You will combine field execution, technical problem-solving, and account leadership to enhance customer outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and unlock commercial opportunities.
You will act as a key interface between customers, sales, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless execution of chemical applications while identifying opportunities to expand value and strengthen long-term partnerships.
As a Sales Senior Team leader - Account Management, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting field sampling, testing, application maintenance, and performance reporting across refinery chemical programs
- Monitoring and maintaining existing treatment programs to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and compliance
- Supporting the development, installation, and optimization of systems used to apply chemical technologies
- Partnering with sales and engineering teams to deliver technical presentations and demonstrate value to customers
- Developing and delivering business reviews and technical insights to customers and leadership stakeholders
- Building strong, trust-based relationships by understanding customer operations, challenges, and strategic goals
- Managing day-to-day execution of refinery chemical programs, including technicians and account representatives
- Supporting account-level P&L awareness, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Identifying sales opportunities and originating growth initiatives within existing accounts
- Identifying, coordinating, and executing multiple projects of varying complexity to deliver measurable customer value
- Collaborating cross-functionally with technical, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions aligned with customer needs
- Directly managing and guiding a team of field personnel and account team members
- Ensuring adherence to Sales and Service Standards and operational excellence practices
- Promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Have significant experience in downstream chemicals, refining operations, or industrial process environments
- Have experience in customer-facing roles, technical sales, or account management
- Demonstrate strong understanding of refinery processes and chemical treatment programs
- Be able to translate technical data into actionable insights and business value
- Have strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence customers and stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong project coordination and prioritization capabilities
- Show proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and drive account growth
