Primary Special Education Teacher

Morning Star Catholic School in Tampa, serving students who learn differently for over 67 years, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher for primary grades (Kindergarten�3rd).
The ideal candidate will provide individualized, multi-sensory instruction, support student goals, and foster a structured, nurturing classroom that promotes academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth. Collaboration with families, therapists, and staff is essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor�s degree in Special Education
- Valid teaching certification and willingness to be certified in Exceptional Student Education
- Experience working with primary-aged students with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction, behavior supports, and early childhood development
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Points:
A commitment to Catholic/Christian education and a passion for helping each child grow in confidence and independence are essential.
Successful completion of Level II fingerprinting and completion of Safe Environment training are required for employment.
