Job Description

Introduction

 

We are looking for people interested in financial markets functioning and investment management approaches on theoretical and practical basis.

Teamworking, problem solving and analytical skills are what we are looking for in our trainees.

Activities

 

The intern will collaborate with the team in the following activities:

  • Ensures compliance with current laws, rules, regulation and internal procedures
  • Supports the interpretation of regulatory, prospectus and internal limits as well as the activities connected to the investment process of the managed products
  • Supports maintenance of policies, procedure and due diligence with external parties
  • Prepares internal/regulatory material and reporting referred to Financial, Credit, Operational risks
  • Ensures ongoing review, monitoring and reporting on Credit Risk Management
  • Ensures ongoing review, monitoring and reporting on Operational Risk
  • Ensures ongoing review, monitoring and reporting on Financial Risk

What you will learn

 

The intern will gain expertise in key risk metrics and the investment process at an asset management firm.

Requirements

 

  • Academic experience with risk management measures, methodologies, tools and systems
  • Strong economic, mathematical, statistical and analytical skills
  • Rigorous, creative, honest, highly organized with good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Computer literate with sound Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office skills. VBA programming skills are a must
  • Ability to interact with other departments
  • Fluent in English and Italian. Fluency in French is a plus
