Perioperative Registered Nurse

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe and quality nursing care, ensuring a comfortable and confident visit for each patient. This position will utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively with a team to deliver medical care that is consistent with patient needs, standards of nursing practice, legal regulations and ASC policies and procedures. The Perioperative RN utilizes clinical judgment and skill to be accountable for the total nursing care of assigned patients in the perioperative process. This job description encompasses all perioperative nursing care at The Orthopaedic Surgery Center; department/area specific requirements are defined by nursing competencies.
