Immediate Japan Onsite MATLAB/Simulink_C++_MBD_Engineer for Automotive

Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Model-Based Development (MBD) Engineer for automotive embedded system development. The engineer will work closely with the customer team in Japan during the initial phase of the project(1 year minimum) and later support offshore development activities from India.

The role requires strong technical expertise in automotive embedded systems, model-based development, and effective collaboration with global teams.

• Model Development: Create and optimize system models in tools like MATLAB/Simulink, for automotive software and ECUs (electronic control units)
• Software development: Generate and validate embedded software in C, from the models.
• Testing and validation: Create test cases, perform regression Testing , and analyze results to ensure quality and compliance.
• Documentation: Document modeling processes, results, and recommendations.

Must Have

• MBD experience in Automotive system development
• Experience in MATLAB/ Simulink-based model design

 Good to Have

• Embedded C/ C++
• Experience of ASW on Autosar CP (AP is optional)
• Scripting languages like Python
• Knowledge of automotive powertrain system/ automotive body control system
• Experience of SysML
• ECU system level design like ASPICE SYS 3.
• Software development on Linux OS/ QNX OS
• Functional Safety-based software development, Automotive communication protocols

Language Skill

• English – Mandatory (Business Level English)
• Japanese – Not mandatory. It is good to have business level Japanese.
