Firmware FPGA Engineer - Relocation Spain

Design and develop firmware for FPGAs using VHDL and/or Verilog , targeting platforms such as Xilinx, Intel (Altera), or Microsemi. Define and implement digital architectures, including signal processing, control logic , and communication interfaces. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and electronic designs. Perform simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and hardware validation of FPGA designs. Develop and maintain testbenches and verification environments . Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting in laboratory environments. Document design specifications, implementation details, and validation procedures. Participate in design reviews, technical assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards and security requirements in firmware development.
