Position Summary
The Mobile Coatings General Laborer will perform routine and preventative maintenance painting duties and a full range of specialized painting projects including painting large structures in corrosive environments.

Position Summary
The Mobile Coatings General Laborer will perform routine and preventative maintenance painting duties and a full range of specialized painting projects including painting large structures in corrosive environments.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Load and unload project materials and move the materials to designated areas.
- Package project material and move the material to designated areas.
- Maintain good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment including the return of tools to storage areas.
- Completes all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Remove protective coatings from equipment or structures by sandblasting, perform field blas cleaning as specified, and remove heavy deposits of grease or oil from surfaces.
- Participates in all requested job related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs.
- Ensures manager is aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing.
- Ensures all Nix Companies’ Core Values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork.
- Follow all company & common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment, as necessary.

- Be flexible to work weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of trade specifications and painting requirements
- Experience with operating sandblaster, vapor blaster, and/or airless spray equipment preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops (forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
- Strong organizational skills
