About the Job 

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Rewards & Performance Expert to join and lead our Local Talent Performance & Reward Team in the People Function. As a senior member of this team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our local performance management, compensation planning and employee rewards and recognition strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects and collaborate with professionals across the organization.

 

What you do

  • Work in collaboration with Talent Performance & Reward Global team to drive compensation and performance management initiatives for the Indian Hub.
  • Actively participate, on a need basis, in global Performance & Rewards projects.
  • Develop and manage performance management systems and processes. Facilitate training and communication to ensure effective implementation and understanding of performance management tools.
  • Analyze data related to compensation and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the global rewards and performance framework is applied locally, adapting compensation and performance management processes to local requirements while maintaining consistency, fairness, and compliance with global standards.
  • Explore new tools and practices to enhance efficiency in the Rewards & Performance function (e.g. GenAI, automation) and participate in / lead ad hoc projects, perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings to senior management.
  • Design and lead the implementation of local benefits in line with market practices and emerging trends, while ensuring alignment with the global framework.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual performance and compensation review cycle as well as ongoing support related to all governance related topics.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to HR business partners and senior leadership on all matters related to rewards and performance management.

 

What you bring

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in compensation, benefits and performance management, with deep technical expertise in core Compensation processes and Benefits relevant to local Indian market (including but not limited to life insurance, health insurance, retirals, benefits in kind, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Indian labor codes/reforms and impact on compensation/benefits revision
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills (and advanced level MS Excel skills) with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Ability to use good judgment, be discreet and highly trustworthy, and demonstrate ethical conduct along with high level of integrity and demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proven experience in implementing global programs and adapting them to local contexts.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and consultative skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in a global setting.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of AI tools and a willingness to embrace it as a working partner in day-to-day activities.
