Merion Restaurant Server - Part Time
Summary: The Restaurant Server within our Merion fine dining restaurant will provide exceptional service to members and guests in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable manner to ensure a pleasurable dining experience while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Summary: The Restaurant Server within our Merion fine dining restaurant will provide exceptional service to members and guests in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable manner to ensure a pleasurable dining experience while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC)
- Greet each member and their guest with a smile and warm welcome
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings
- Inform member of daily specials and offer recommendations upon request
- Take food and drink orders and accurately enter in the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that each request is fulfilled in a timely manner
- Keep the dining room clean and organized throughout the shift
- Promote an attitude of teamwork by assisting other team members on the floor and with side work
- Become an expert using Jonas POS system
- Follow and adhere to the AAC standard of tableside service
- Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift
- Assist in other departments/club functions to help the club as needed, including Special Events
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights
- Capable of standing for extended periods and carrying heavy trays
- Able to build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with team members
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain an alcohol pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek
- Prior fine-dining serving experience preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
- Friendly, people orientated individual with a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience

- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Enjoy a holiday rate of 1.5 times normal pay for working on New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
