ROLE

We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support Nexus Marketing's growing roster of client engagements.

This is a production-focused role responsible for delivering a high volume of polished design and video work across a variety of formats — social graphics, blog and web visuals, sales and marketing collateral, presentations, and short-form video.

You'll work primarily within existing client brand guidelines, translating briefs into clean, on-brand deliverables that meet quality standards and turnaround expectations.

There's room to contribute to branding and design systems work over time, but the core of this role is consistent, reliable execution that keeps client work moving and frees up senior creatives and account teams to focus on strategy.

This is an ideal role for a junior-to-mid-level designer who takes pride in craft, works fast without sacrificing quality, and wants to build a deep portfolio across industries and formats.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce a wide range of design deliverables for client engagements, including social media graphics, blog and website visuals, infographics, presentations, ads, and marketing collateral

  • Create and edit short-form video and motion content to support client campaigns

  • Work within established client brand guidelines to ensure every deliverable is on-brand and consistent

  • Translate briefs and account team direction into finished design work with minimal back-and-forth

  • Contribute to light branding and design systems work as needed (templates, asset libraries, brand refreshes)

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines across several client accounts simultaneously

  • Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately through revision cycles

  • Maintain organized, well-labeled files and asset libraries for easy handoff and reuse

  • Collaborate with designers, content, and account teams to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards

SETUP

  • This is a work-from-home setup

  • Target of 42.5 billable hours per week

This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.

Here’s what a typical day looks like:

  • Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)

  • Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)

  • Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)

  • Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)

This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.

  • Work-from-home setup

Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences

REQUIREMENTS

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role

  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating range across digital design formats

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/After Effects), Figma, and Canva

  • Experience producing and editing short-form video and motion graphics

  • Ability to work within established brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency

  • Strong eye for layout, typography, color, and hierarchy

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines across several accounts

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to incorporate feedback efficiently

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment is a strong plus

BENEFITS

Paid vacation time

  • 20 days accrued annually

  • These paid days off each equate to 8.0 hours of billable time.

  • Expect to use 5 of the days during the Christmas – New Year’s period.

Paid sick time

  • 5 sick days off annually

Paid life leave*

  • 15 days accrued annually.

  • Once per year in December, you can cash out any accrued life leave time. Every 5 days your cash out is worth about $300.

*Life Leave allows team members to use their holidays as it’s meant to be – a break – whilst knowing they’ve got the breathing space to tap into extra leave for the planned and unplanned life moments.
