Overview:   The Concierge is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs.   Concierge are responsible for providing five-star service to each guest, as well as, serving as ambassadors throughout the guest’s stay. A concierge makes a lasting impression upon our guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the hotel and local area, being prepared to help with any needs the guest may have, and offering our full range of upscale hotel amenities and services to them. Concierge is also responsible for resolving guest issues and completing special requests. They work closely with all hotel departments especially our Front Desk Agents, Bell-Door and Ideal Services teams.   Responsibilities: Interact with other departments to ensure that guests’ needs are satisfied. Assist in arranging for restaurant reservations and transportation as required by our guests. Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries, etc. to guest rooms. Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident. Speak to guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome at the hotel. To proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the hotel experience for our guests. Be Knowledgeable of all hotel amenities and with different points of interest. Perform any other duties required by management. Qualifications: Previous luxury hotel experience is required. Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions. Ability to communicate effectively, exceptional organizational skills, an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Proven ability to engage guests at all levels. Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service.
