
Marketing Manager: Intermediary: Sanlam Risk & Savings: Bellville: PG 13
Job Description
What will you do?
Strategic Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing plans tailored to intermediary audiences that are aligned with Sanlam Risk and Savings business objectives and growth ambitions and intermediary engagement goals.
- Align campaigns with product launches, regulatory requirements, and business priorities and identifying and developing new marketing channels and touchpoints to expand Sanlam Risk and Savings’ reach and relevance.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform positioning and lead segmentation and personalisation strategies to deliver targeted, data-driven campaigns.
Intermediary Engagement
- Build strong relationships with SanlamConnect and intermediaries through targeted campaigns, communications and events that support strategic business objectives.
- Create and deliver marketing collateral, toolkits, presentations, and communication to support intermediary understanding and sales.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of events, from concept to execution to post-event analytics—with a focus on innovation, brand elevation, product consideration and ROI.
- Partner with distribution teams to ensure consistent messaging and intermediary support and leveraging feedback and insights to refine engagement strategies.
Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns that support business priorities.
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to refine and optimize future activity.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Client Marketing, Communications, Product, Intermediary Support teams to ensure marketing accuracy and alignment.
- Lead cross-functional projects and collaboration and manage external agencies or suppliers.
- Support junior team members with guidance and coaching.
- Mentor, develop and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
